Pet Foods Recommended by NZYMES
IMPORTANT NOTE: For Dog or Cats with Candida Yeast Problems (itchy skin & ear symptoms), the list of food options is more restricted due to that condition. Please use the Link Above.
WHY? When trying to solve Yeast Candida issues using the NZYMES Yeast Removal Program it is highly important to use foods that will NOT contribute to growth or expansion of the Yeast fungus; hence, food choices are more restricted - to reduce intake of starches that feed yeast.
WHY SHOULD I CHANGE FOODS?
Over 10 years of high-intensity involvement in the pet health industry, including dealing with 10's of thousands of pet health issues, and our close involvement with
Linda Arndt, the pet nutrition specialist, has shown us - that a very high proportion of Pet Health Issues are directly related to the poor quality pet foods found in the larger, volume oriented stores. Such foods do not provide your pet with the sort of nutrition they actually NEED. Most are Corn or Wheat based, and even when they list a meat - such as Chicken - this will not truly be the main ingredient after water is extracted. All Premium quality foods will list some sort of MEAT MEAL as the primary ingredient - meaning the meat has been weighed only after water has been extracted.
NZYMES as no direct relationships with specific pet food manufacturers or suppliers; and, we only recommend foods that are Super-Premium or Holistic. Such foods are manufactured to higher quality standards. This means being 'meat based' as well as more nutritious and better balanced, including a 'vitamins and minerals' package designed to be more thoroughly absorbed by a pet's body. These higher-quality foods will also normally be devoid of by-products as well as dangerous
preservatives and additives. Pet foods of this quality will NOT be found in supermarkets or large chain-stores, including the large corporate Pet stores or Discount chains. Instead, they will be found in local small pet stores within your community. Store-finder links on this page can help you locate such dealers.

There are 4 types of raw diets that can be purchased so it is CRITICAL people call the company and ask HOW to use these diets to make sure they are balanced and complete.
-
Complete diets, with vitamins minerals and balanced calcium/phosphorus ratio.
-
Straight raw meats (incomplete diets) and they need to be balanced in their calcium and phosphorus ratio before you use them. This is done with a companion product the company will instruct you to purchase. (These must be used with a variety of other foods in order to bring them up to a complete diet)
-
Grain/veggie/fruit diets and you have to add the raw meat.

| SUPER PREMIUM KIBBLE & RAW |

Please DO NOT USE just any kibble mixed with meat for your pet's complete diet. The kibbles shown below are calculated specifically so you can add NO MORE THAN 20% RAW MEAT with them and maintain the proper calcium and phosphorus levels especially important for large breed puppies.
