My daughter, Josie, was born in July of 1993. She was diagnosed with Cerebral Palsy at birth. Over the first several years of her life, we found that she also had epileptic seizures, and have also since found that she is learning disabled.
For the last year or so, I’ve been using NZYMES® Ox-E-Drops on various things in our home, including our dog’s water dishes throughout the house, and have had great success in keeping the water fresh and clean for far more days than without the NZYMES® Ox-E-Drops. I’ve also used it in my own drinking water to clear up strep throat, and to help with bladder infections. In other words, I dabbled with NZYMES® products.
In July of this year (2006), I decided to begin trying the NZYMES® Granules for Josie. I saw people having great success with their dog’s epilepsy, and thought that if we could even cut Josie’s seizures in half each day, then even that would improve her quality of life.
On July 28, 2006, our Granules arrived, and I immediately sat her down for a bowl of cereal with some granules sprinkled over the top.
For the first several days, I noticed no change in her seizure activity, but her recovery time seemed to improve a bit, so we kept at it. She was also beginning to really like it with her food, and made sure that we weren’t forgetting it!
Slowly, we began seeing a decrease in daily seizure activity. When we began the Granules, she was averaging anywhere from 5-10 seizures per day, by the 3rd of August she was having anywhere from 3-5 seizures per day, with a few little rough days mixed in here and there. We were noticing that the 3-5 per day were becoming less severe, and just only lasting literally seconds long, rather than one minute or more.
By August 17, 2006, a miracle happened for our family! Josie had 3 SEIZURE FREE DAYS IN A ROW! (She has NEVER had one day, let alone THREE!!!) The 4th day, she only had ONE seizure, and then she had two more seizure free days in a row! Wow!! What a great week!! My husband is a skeptic, but I even caught HIM giving NZYMES® Granules credit for our stress free days.
Another Benefit!
Josie is also speech impaired, so it’s not always easy to understand everything she says. She speaks in broken sentences, because she doesn’t always remember the right words to say, and/or can’t always form the correct sounds. Being her mother, I understand her more than most people, but even at that, it’s sometimes difficult for even me.
I was lazing around last Saturday morning in bed, listening to the sounds of the household, when I found myself listening (eavesdropping? ;)) in on her conversation in the next room with her Daddy. Then it hit me! Her sentences were longer, more complete, and much clearer than before!
School started a week ago for Josie, and by day 3 or 4, her One on One Associate walked her to the car, and stuck her head in and said, “Are you SURE Josie has epilepsy?” I had to laugh, but then I told her about the NZYMES® Granules! I just got that same lady to order some for herself (bad back) this week, and she’s looking forward to seeing results for herself, as am I!!
I’m being realistic through this and know that NZYMES® Granules aren’t a cure for Josie’s epilepsy and seizures, and never will be, but how wonderful to have some relief with simple nutrition.
Thank you for improving the quality of life for my daughter!! She was always fun before, but the fog seems to be lifting, and she’s even MORE fun!! Thank you also, for introducing me to my daughter…. the way God intended her to be!!
So, I would still definitely lead epileptic patients to NZYMES® as a great supplement to their meds or to even help wean them off of their meds. I'm hoping that your new clients are having success also.

Although the focus of Nzymes.com is on pets and pet nutrition(the need is very great), our products work for people too! Many hundreds of people are using our products, and quite happily getting results. When Josie's mom called in and questioned us about possibly using the Granules for her daughter with terrible seizures, our response was a resounding, "absolutely". Knowing what improvements we had seen with pets, we felt very confidently that they would at least help with her condition. One month later, she called in with this glowing report. Needless to say, we were awestruck, and so very happy to have had such a positive impact on the life of this little girl.
The purpose of these paragraphs is to hopefully bring attention to others who may be going through the same nightmare that Josie and her family were. We are always happy to help folks with their pets, our success stories are many and varied. But it is hard to compare what is done for animals to the life of a child. We feel that there may be hundreds if not thousands of families like Josie's, who also may be helped in a like manner.
