Degenerative Disc Disease ~ Broken Caps ~ Paralysis
Lilly is a dog with a history of degenerative disc disease. With Lilly's spine degraded by the disease, she became immobilized (virtually paralyzed) after cracking 4 'caps' that had grown to protect the discs. Seizures were the root cause of the incident that resulted in the broken caps. The pain left the dog unable to move for many days.
