Eevee Breed:Keeshond
Age: 2 yrs
Health History: Warts, Oral growths

April 30, 2008
NZYMES® has been like a "miracle" for our dog, Eevee. In February 2008, we had noticed this pink bump growing from the right lower lip of Eevee's mouth. At first, I thought maybe she bit herself when eating her meal. However, the bump grew and then another one begin to grow next to it. Then her breath was really bad.

We had thought she needed to get her teeth brushed, but that didn't seem to help. As the weeks went by her breath got worse and the bumps began to grow, they got to the point where now they were visible as they stuck out from the side of her mouth. I urged my mom to take her to the vet and she told me that she had an appointment in two weeks for her annual check up. During the time waiting for her appointment, the bumps grew to be even bigger and her breath more fierce. Now the lower side of the lip was hanging down as the weight of the bumps had gotten heavier as they grew.

Having seen warts on humans, I commented that they looked like warts, and if they were, they could be a real nuisance to get rid of as they tend to come back. The Vet told my mom that there was nothing she could do and to just "watch it". When I learned of this, I was not satisfied, so I asked one of my friends for her Vet's phone number, so we could get a 2nd opinion. This vet said that it could either be left alone and eventually it would go away, or surgery. The estimate for the surgery was between $350-$500 depending if there were complications.

My mom then called the 1st Vet that she took Eevee to and asked them for a surgery estimate. Their quote was about $280. When she asked the Vets if there was any alternative they had both had said no. Then the first one called back and offered some choices of treatments at about $40 a pop which had to be done until they were gone. The 2nd Vet used the word that I had known that word to mean warts, which is what I had thought they looked like. The wart that had been there the longest had already started to turn black so I knew the blood supply was not reaching that part.  I wasn't satisfied with the options of surgery or "watch it" advice, and since I knew that warts could be recurring I thought if we started this "treatment", it could go on for an indefinite amount of time. My mom is elderly but in good health herself, and she would have paid, probably whatever it would have taken to take care of Eevee.

So I went on line and searched dog warts and up came this site for NZYMES.COM as well as some other sites. Most of what I read (on various sites) was that it was a rather new disease and not much was known about it. Some experimental things had been done to create a vaccine with the wart, surgically removed from the animal and then injected into it, but it was still a rather new procedure and costly.

After reading some NZYMES® testimonials and seeing the pictures of it, I showed my mom and we were convinced that we needed to try NZYMES. I ordered the Ox-E-Drops and received the Antioxidant Treats as a gift for the first time order. We could barely wait for it to arrive. It was like kids waiting for Christmas to come when they were expecting a special gift they had long anticipated getting. It seemed to take forever, but it was only 4 days. In the meantime, Eevee had started a new diet, as NZYMES website had suggested some top choice dog food.

We received the Ox-E-Drops on 4/18/08, and begin using them as instructed immediately. We applied the product, full strength (*not recommended), using a cotton swab and directly applying it to the two warts on the side of her lower lip three times a day and gave her the new Antioxidant Treat, twice a day.  By the second day, I couldn't believe my eyes, the growths were beginning to disappear, they shrank and dried up, by the end of the 1st week, all that was left of the warts was a pink looking bump, like when we first noticed it. This was very tender for her, as when we had applied the Ox-E-Drops before, she didn't seem to mind, other than she didn't like when we opened her mouth to do it. But, as they shrank and the pink part was exposed, she would flinch when we touched it with the drops. It was then we decided for the next full week to give her 2nd dose of the day as a diluted dose.

Today is 4/30/08, exactly 2 weeks since she begin the process. And I'm amazed that the warts are gone. We realize that they could come back in the same place or another place in her mouth, but now we are armed and ready. By the 5th day of usage, I wanted to send a testimonial, but I wanted to wait until we had completed the full two weeks of her treatment. Beginning tomorrow, she will continue to get her treat, once a day. We cannot thank you enough for your great product and for the diet advice and what products to feed her. We will continue to order the treats and Ox-E-Drops. I am trying to convince my friend who has COPV to order from you as well.

*NZYMES.COM remarks: Be advised: "UNDILUTED" usage of Ox-E-Drops is NEVER RECOMMENDED. Though it may work, the high natural alkalinity (13 pH) of the product can very quite harsh, and is not necessary to resolve the issues at hand; the high alkalinity of the drops (13pH) can produce a  mild alkaline burn. We always suggest to DILUTE the drops for topical use. For these types of problems our recommendation is to use the Ox-E 2% Topical solution.  Secondary to that, is to add the Drops to the diet 2-3 times per day, 1-drop per 20lb of body weight.
