Joint Problems
Joint related problems or pain are becoming more and more common with pets in today's world. The term “Arthritis” is often used to describe the issue, but may not be entirely accurate as other true conditions may be at play. These conditions may stem from Bursitis, Hip Dysplasia, Elbow Dysplasia, or Luxating Patella. The result is a debilitating effect on the animal in question. Symptoms are varied, but may include, limping, slow rising, difficulty in climbing stairs, slowing down on walks, “bunny hopping”, or walking on three legs.
Besides the possible suggestion of surgery, typical veterinary approach to these conditions is to manage pain by use of prescription pain killers. This approach may seem convenient, but overlooks the tremendous ability of the body to help itself when given the proper nutritional resources. The use of these medications is not always a safe option either, as many of these drugs can carry devastating side-effects to the Liver, Kidneys and GI Tract. It is hard to imagine why any reasonable person resort to these medications if they knew there was a safe and natural alternative.
The NZYMESAntioxidant Treats for Pets or Granules supply the body with a form of highly nutritional 'live food' enzymes. This type of nutrition significantly helps the body to produce a complete series of antioxidant enzymes including Super Oxide Dismutase (SOD). These enzymes are instrumental in cellular cleansing and repair, lending themselves to lowering of inflammation, and restoration of lubricating fluids.
In a Veterinary Study conducted on the benefits of this type of supplementation for dogs with musculoskeletal inflammation, 88% responded favorably with their complete range of motion, most in as little as 8 days! But Study aside, from experience with our own pets, and in conversations with 1000's of our customers, we know the effectiveness of NZYMES first hand! AND – Rather than being faced with the consequences of side effects, there are many secondary Benefits with NZYMES. Here are a few:
· Reduced Shedding
· Improved Skin and Coat
· Greater Energy/Playfulness
· Better Digestion
· Reduction in Seizure activity

Barkley, Our Chocolate Lab injured his Right knee and was limping on it so badly that he could hardly get around. The Vet said they could fix it through surgery, but we would have to keep him quiet and on a leash for 6-8 weeks. This would be absolutely next to impossible with this dog. He loves to run, and chase after a cat if he sees one through the back fence.
I decided to search the net and see what else I could do to try and help him. I found the Nzymes.com and decided to try the Nzymes Granules on him. We sprinkle them on his food every morning and although his knee hasn't been cured, he is not in as much pain as he was in, and he walks without limping. We have noticed that he does have to have this daily or he starts limping again. It's really great to give a dog something that is good for them nutritionally that helps them and they don't mind the taste.
Bea Problems: Hip and Elbow Joint pain, Muscle sprain
September 20, 2000 It was with great joy that I witnessed what NZYMES®Antioxidant Treats did for our dear dog. So I was very pleased when they became available for humans.
I took NZYMES®Antioxidant Complex every day, as directed, including the extra beginning dosage, but didn't think too much about them. In less than a month, I noticed something very strange: a lot fewer aches and pains -- something I had just assumed was a "natural" part of life at age 55!
From my mid-thirties, I had always experienced joint pains, especially in my hips, after years of running on pavement. I guess I just assumed that was par for the course, since my mother had had a hip replacement in her later years. "In the genes," I thought. When we moved to Tennessee, the pain increased with the high humidity.
Guess what! Those arthritic pains are gone! Using my right elbow had been particularly painful. I was amazed to discover, after taking NZYMES®Antioxidant Complexfor a while, that I could lift heavy items and move the elbow with no pain whatsoever. (And it's still humid)!
Then recently, I injured my calf muscles, tearing them harshly on a slide down the front steps. I could hardly walk from the bed to the bath, and was really distressed, thinking how long it would be before I could enjoy my outdoor walks again. (I like to walk about an hour each day). Well, I was absolutely astounded at how quickly those muscles recovered, noticing a major improvement virtually every day. I was back to my regular hour of walking in only a week. Guess those NZYMES® really accelerate healing!
Lots of other aches and pains are disappearing, too. Some of them I hadn't even been aware of until I noticed their absence. How wonderful it is to get out of bed in the morning with no pain! I had forgotten the joy of feeling physically young. Thank you for introducing us to this exceptional product!
Update: 1/25/2001 One more addition for my personal testimonial: My hair had been getting thinner with age, with a distressing receding to my hairline. Anyway, I went to get my haircut the other day and realized that my hair is much thicker since I've been taking NZYMES®Antioxidant Complex for 6 months now. - Hooray!

Dakota is a big, strong dog. I love him with all my heart. So it was horrible watching him start to decline. He is an indoor dog & I watched him slow down; you could see it was painful to get up and down. He wouldn't jump onto the bed or his favorite couch to look outside anymore.
The vets would always remark on how fortunate I was to 'still have him' at the age of 10, and that arthritis was to blame for his discomfort. They recommended a steroid drug to help with the inflammation, however it would harm his liver. I held off making any decisions, I wasn't in any rush to pump him full of steroids. I changed his diet to an all natural home cooked diet, lots of boiled chicken breast and rice. We relieved some pain just by reducing his weight.
We were trying everything... daily, low dose aspirin, diet supplements, vitamins; we tried it all, yet Dakota stayed inactive and uncomfortable. We continued his daily walks, they just were shorter and slower. It wasn't the walking that hurt it; was the getting up and down, he just didn't have the strength to do it. We had to do something.
Then in late 2007, I was traveling with my elderly mother and was in the pre-board area of a Southwest flight leaving Vegas when we struck up a conversation with an elderly man. My mother and he were comparing prescription med stories and poor health tales when this stranger brought up NZYMES. He spoke so proudly of the product that it really sparked my moms interest. He told us how much it had helped him improve and regain mobility in his life. He looked great and said he felt fabulous.
Once I got home I looked it up on the internet and read the testimonials. I was so hopeful.... not just for my ailing mother but for Dakota too! I ordered the Treats, Drops and Granules immediately. We started a regimen the day they arrived and Dakota has improved immensely. He has responded so well, he's playing with our other 2 dogs. He's walking a mile a day and happy again. He's still slow getting up, but he no longer falls or collapses. His quality of life has improved so much, people don't realize he's 14, they think he's around 7 or 8. Nyzmes saved Dakota's life. We are so thankful!
Our 11 year-old Golden/Collie Mix has always been plagued by recurring ear infections... and, from time to time, "hot spots." Shortly before Christmas, however, he started having severe mobility problems. He was having trouble getting up and down the steps and even getting up from his constant nap was a problem. He was also lethargic and cranky.
Always looking for natural remedies, I came across NZYMES online and ordered immediately. That was just a little over a month ago - and the difference is incredible!! Within a few days of taking the NZYMES Antioxidant Treats supplement, he was much perkier and was running up and down the steps! His personality is back and he is a happy puppy once again! And, even more incredibly ... he had a soft, slow-growing tumor that he has had for several years. As I was grooming him recently, I noticed that - amazingly - it's almost gone! I know that sounds crazy -- and I'm not sure why it's gone -- but the only real difference in his diet is the addition of the NZYMES Antioxidant Treats supplements! I am recommending NZYMES to everyone I know - and I'm going to order the "human" version for myself!
Legend Breed: Rottweiller Age: 2 yrs Problems: Torn ligament, Yeast Infection, Vomiting, Poor Appetite, Lameness, Joint pain, Swelling, Low energy
Around April 13th of 2002, at just over 1 year of age, our big boy "Legend" suddenly became very ill with strange symptoms such as vomiting, lameness, lack of energy, joint pain, lack of appetite and parts of his body such as his lower lip & elbows became very swollen and sore.
After numerous tests by our Vet such as Blood work, X-Rays and extensive physical exams, our Vet believed that he was suffering from a torn Cruciate Ligament. As for the other symptoms, the vet was a bit puzzled. He then referred us to the local Orthopedic Veterinarian in the Manikin Sabot area of Central Virginia (VRCC). After seeing the vet there, he determined that Legend had the following conditions; Hip-Displasia (very mild), Arthritis in all joints, loose knees, fluid on both elbows due to arthritis, and that Legend's muscles has begun to atrophied. In the vet's words "This dog is a train wreck!" He recommended that we "Medically Manage" these conditions for as long as we could, financially & mentally. Legend was placed on NSAID'S (Non-steroidal Anti-inflammatory drugs)
Leaving this visit, we were the ones that felt like we were hit by a train. How could this be? He was so healthy less then 3 months prior. We then began researching Legend's symptoms on the net and came across a web site done by a local Virginia Nutritionist who later phoned us that evening stating she felt that Legend had a severe Yeast Infection throughout his body. She was going to email us articles on the subject but never did. So we began searching the internet on the topic of "Yeast Infections" and came across the NZYMES.COM web site.
My wife then emailed them about Legend's condition and symptoms. They then phoned us back in about 30 minutes. After talking with Stan, we then placed an order for the products in the NZYMES®Small Yeast Kit . He also consulted a close friend Linda Arndt who is a "Canine Nutritional Consultant" who asked Stan to have us phone her right away. In doing so, Linda confirmed that a severe yeast infection could indeed be the culprit, which often resembles food allergies.
Linda then went on to explain how the NZYMES®Yeast Kit would help eliminate the yeast infection from Legend's body and also suggested several "All Natural" dog foods that contained NO artificial filers or preservatives. She also suggested special shampoos for us to use while his body was expelling the yeast.
Within 2 months, we saw a MAJOR change in Legend's condition, his symptoms had dramatically reduced and appeared to be in steady decline. To this day, Legend remains on this regiment of Blackwood Pet Foods' 2000 brand dog food, NZYMES® and has made a full recovery, to the point were our vet had to ask, is this the same Rottweiler? Legend runs, jumps and plays like any other healthy 2 year old Rottweiler. Our rescued female "Sheba" is also on these products more as a daily preventive regiment. I also should mention that both dog's coats are like glass and the whites of their eyes are clear and bright!
We want to publicly thank all of the folks involved in saving our beloved Legend for without your concern & dedication, Legend would most certainly no longer be with us. We are forever grateful!

Terra Breed: West Highland white terrier Age: 14 yrs Problems: Yeast, Hairloss, Blackened Skin, Hip and joint issues, Loose
August 31, 2008 My 14 year old Westie "Terra" had blood in her urine back in July 2007. We took her to the vet who could not tell me what it was, but had a huge veterinary bill. Her hair started to become dull and lifeless. She always smelled funny and she had lots of scabs all of a sudden. I thought maybe I hurt her while grooming. She had blackened skin, oily skin, crusty smelly skin, itchy skin, hair loss and loose stools. All these symptoms improved with Nzymes program. Her skin is mostly pink now and her hair is growing back. Her stools are normal for the first time in her life ever.
I looked up all the symptoms on the internet and found NZYMES.COM. I am usually very skeptical, but when they mentioned 120-Day Money-Back Guarantee if we were not happy, I thought what could I loose, also they were nice enough to give one bottle free to start with as you need to double up during the cleansing stages with yeast. I thought these feedbacks stories could be fake, but to my surprise they are true.
I started to change the food, just as they mentioned, I started feeding Eaglepack. Also Mother Hubbard treats. She stopped having loose stools as soon as we started theNZYMES®Antioxidant Treats. All these years of loose stools and then getting worse with all the skin problems. I also do the Malaseb shampoo and the Zymox shampoo. Her skin is now back to pink, and her stools are normal for the first time in her life ever. She only has a small area on the back of her neck that is still black, more to grey now. Before her whole back and groin area were all blackened. It is now healthy looking. Her hair is growing back also.
I have been giving her these NZYMES® Antioxidant treats since February of 2008 and it is now August 2008. I will be reordering and thinking of getting some for myself also. Thank you for making a wonderful product. Oh by the way, when I took her to get her teeth cleaned, the vet told me,"whatever you are doing for her skin problem, keep doing it, it seems to work". A vet telling me that, I felt great to hear that from her. Imagine all the money I am saving on vet bills and all the money she could have made from me.
Thanks again, M. Murray - Cedar Park, TX
NOTE FROM NZYMES.COM: It is important to mention that Rarely do we see a dog recover from this level of yeast infection by just using the NZYMES® Antioxidant Treats. In Terra's case we can only attribute this to the following: the dogs immune system working very effectively; the owner (from day one) following our yeast program and instructions as best possible - including changing foods, and following the correct bathing instructions. Fortunately, this dogs history included very little in the way of negative medications which tend to complicate these problems; thus, recovery came in a 7 month period. However, we want to WARN all reading this story, that expecting such results without using a recommeded Yeast Kit, will likely lead to strong disappointment. We know this from dealing with 700-800 new cases EVERY MONTH.

June 10, 2002 We were first introduced to the powerful, antioxidant formula found in NZYMES® when our dog, Tigger, began hobbling around the yard on three legs, at about 1 year of age. When we took him to the vet for his normal, annual check-up, we were told that he had a luxating patella (floating knee cap). The vet gave us the option of surgery, offering NO GUARANTEES, and suggested that arthritis would most likely develop in later years.
A little distressed and concerned, I mentioned it in passing while on a phone conversation with my dad. He immediately told me that I should start Tigger on NZYMES®. So I did. Within 2 weeks, Tigger’s mobility was improving. By 3 weeks, the 3-legged hobbling was gone! It was amazing.
I know it was the NZYMES® too, because after the first bottle ran out, I let him go without them. After about a month, the dreaded 3-legged hobbling came back! I immediately reordered, and within a week or so he was running and playing normally again. From that day till now, over 4 years, we have not missed a day of “Tigger’s special treat” - NZYMES®!
Since that time, Tigger has put on some pounds. He really began bulking up right after we had him neutered. He weighs in at 17 pounds, pretty good size for a Chihuahua. Even with the additional weight, he runs, plays ball, chases birds, squirrels and rabbits, all with no hobbling, and plenty of energy. Another benefit has been his coat. It's soft and luxurious with very little shedding.
Tigger has become a wonderful part of our family. Everyone who gets to know him loves him - even the mail carrier! NZYMES® are a big reason he's such a happy healthy dog!

You asked me to write when I started seeing results with the NZYMES®Granules, so here I am.
I was hired as a caretaker for Trinket, a 15-year-old gray Arabian mare. One very common problem for gray Arabians is skin melanomas and Trinket was no different, she had numerous melanomas all over her body. In addition, she had some joint pain and stiffness issues, due to inactivity, which caused her to stumble now and then.
So far, after only a couple of weeks on NZYMES®Granules, her energy level and desire to run, run, run, has come back. She definitely has more get-up and go and her legs aren't so stiff anymore. And, It seems that the NZYMES®Granules have really helped with her stiffness and pain because her occasional stumbles are almost gone.
The large melanoma near her rear-end has changed dramatically. Instead of bulging out like before (almost larger than a grapefruit), it has starting to reduce and flatten. Also, the skin that the melanoma had formed on is starting to either flake off or dry up and crumble off. Everyone here at the stables has made comments about the changes. Before this, Trinket used to have to rest her tail on the mass or move with her tail raised-up as she moved. That is not the case anymore.
Her body obviously needed the extra "oomph" internally to help deal with the melanomas and that's where the NZYMES®Granules come in. She has other melanomas speckled throughout the rest of her body. Those are about the size of peas, and another on her rump the size of a quarter.
After about 3 weeks of topical spraying using a 2% solution ofNZYMES®Ox-E-Drops, I noticed that a number of melanomas have begun drying up. At about 1 month they started falling off her body. Underneath there is fresh skin each time which starts growing hair and filling in where the melanoma was. I must say that I am truly amazed at the results the NZYMES®Granules have delivered.
I will be so excited if the others begin changing too. I have to remind myself that it isn't going to happen overnight as it has taken years to have these to form. I'm going to keep my fingers crossed and hope that the NZYMES®Granuleswill be able to help to do the job without surgery.
Her coat and overall appearance has improved dramatically! Over this last month I noticed 4 inches of new hair growth at her mane and tail.
Also, I wanted to let you know that Trinket just loves her NZYMES®Granules. She really goes crazy as soon as she sees me open the bottle. It has become a new source of enjoyment for me.
Rachael Kitts - Fountain Valley, CA.
Trinket loves NZYMES®Granules so much that she even tries to eat them right out of the bottle.
My experience in caring for Trinket taught me a great deal that I now incorporate with MY OWN HORSES. To learn more about my training procedures and feed programs, I would like to invite you to visit my personal site.
