DIRECTIONS FOR USE

INTERNAL USE FOR PETS:
Mix 1 drop, per each 20 lbs. of your pet's body weight of the concentrated Ox-E-Drops with a teaspoon/tablespoon or more of water; Use a dropper or oral syringe to give the mixed solution to your pet, being careful to squirt the mixture along the pet's teeth tooth line and not down the throat. This is the best way to avoid choking and getting fluid in the lungs.

INTERNAL USE FOR PEOPLE:
Mix 1 drop, per each 20 lbs. of your body weight of the concentrated Ox-E-Drops with a water, coffee, tea or milk and drink twice daily

USING OX-E TOPICAL - 2% SOLUTION:
OX-E TOPICAL is made by mixing one (1) teaspoon of the Ox-E-Drops Concentrate with 8 ounces (1 cup) of filtered water. Distilled water is preferred for use in the ears or eyes. Soak the pad of a bandage with the 2 % solution and apply to the affected area. Soak a cotton ball, a cotton swab or spray bottle. For most topical purposes a diluted 2% solution is entirely adequate.
NOTE: Store mixture away from direct sunlight.
WARNING!!!
The Ox-E-Drops Concentrate has a pH of 13 and can bleach fabrics. The use at full strength on the skin can cause a mild alkaline burn. If undiluted contact occurs for skin or eyes, flush the area with water. If swallowed in concentrate form, drink large amounts of water. (at least 1 quart to 1 gallon).

IMMUNE SUPPORT*
Increase the normal usage amount with your pet to 3 times a day.

INTESTINAL HEALTH
Occasionally pets may experience flu-like symptoms or nausea in the beginning if a severe gastro-intestinal imbalance is present several days as the body clears the toxins. If this occurs, reduce the amount given orally by 1/2.

ORAL HYGIENE
The 2% Ox-E Topical solution is perfect for spraying or brushing your pet's teeth. Place 10 drops in a glass with about 1 ounce of water and soak the bristles before brushing.

MORE USES FOR PETS

ADD TO WATER DISH:
Add 2-3 drops of the Ox-E-Drops Concentrate to a pet's water dish each time it is filled, especially when traveling out of state or country. This can help keep the water pure, and may help freshen breath or promote gum health.

USAGE IN PET EARS:
Saturate a cotton ball with the Ox-E 2% Topical solution and gently squeeze the cotton ball to drip some solution into the ear canal, letting it trickle down. Allow the pet to shake off excess. Then use the wet cotton ball to first wipe away or clean any buildup or debris. Finally, work the solution around to wet the entire ear surface and gently wipe or blot the inner ear areas dry.

UNDERSTANDING POSSIBLE BENEFITS OF OX-E-DROPS - BASED ON REACTIVE EFFECTIVENESS
 
WHAT MAKES OX-E-DROPS SO EFFECTIVE?
Lets look at the chemistry involved with NZYMES® Ox-E-Drops . At the pH of the stomach (pH 3-4) one can expect chlorine dioxide (NOT Free Chlorine) to be produced from chlorite ions. This will be a transient phenomenon, ultimately yielding chlorite ions, again, which will be absorbed by the body, passed through the lower gastrointestinal tract, and excreted by the kidneys aiding the body.

DOES THE CHLORITE ION INTERACT WITH ENZYMES?
Yes it does! In fact, another potential mechanism of the NZYMES® Ox-E-Drops involves utilization of chlorite by cells, particularly leukocytes, as a substrate to increase the efficiency of a group of enzymes know as peroxidases. These enzymes are an important component in the immune system since they are involved in the oxidation of foreign material. There are two interesting outcomes of chlorite utilization by these enzymes. The first is that the immune system may be directly enhanced by the increased rate of oxidation of foreign material by the leukocytes.* The second result is an increased ability by all metabolically active cells to scavenge free radicals.* The source of free radicals may be environmental (e.g., UV radiation) or metabolic (e.g., H2O2).
