May, 2010

I really enjoy reading the testimonials at NZYMES.COM. They make me feel great.  I am writing my story to show people what NZYMES can make possible in a very desperate situation.

I rescued my dog Raja from an animal shelter in 2006. He was the last pup left of a litter born in the shelter and he was the runt.  He was extremely ill with dog flu.

The people at the shelter said there was no guarantee he would survive the first night I adopted him.  His first three years of life have been very hard, as he had to visit the Vet allot.  Raja's respiratory health never seemed to improve, and he began to fall severely ill in Oct 2009.

I took him to the Vet again, and over the next three months he was administered both steriods and antibiotics. What a mistake!   After three months of treatment he developed serious skin issues.  His hair and flesh began to come off in large chunks. On top of all that, his respiratory system became even worse, and his joints began to seize. He was only three years old, but I didn't want to stop fighting!

So, I took him off ALL medication (I certainly don't advise this for everyone), and I began to quickly do research on my own on the internet. That is when I discovered NZYMES.COM and the Healthy-Skin Program.

The first night, I put Raja in a small bathroom with a vaporizer which that had 1/2 teaspoon of Ox-E-Drops in it. I kept him in there for 2-3 hours each night for three nights. After the third night I could notice his breathing beginning to to get better.

I have continued to use  the Healthy-Skin Kit for the last 5 months , and I changed his brand of food. I have seen a complete turn-around occur!   His hair has grown back and his breathing is great! His joints are fine and he wants to do is play all day!

Both Raja, and I THANK YOU for helping me win my fight.  To who ever reads this.... never give up on something you love!

NZYMES NOTES:
This story exemplifies matters which Nzymes staff are frequently discussing with customers, or potential customers - that a WEAK IMMUNE SYSTEM is a huge factor in how easily a pet can succumb to a Yeast Candida condition (or any other illness), OR how much difficulty will be involved in getting the issue resolved!  As mentioned at the beginning of this story, Raja appeared to be the RUNT of the litter - which means he undoubtedly had a weak or under-performing immune system from the get-go. This is DUE to the fact that dogs at the runt-end of the litter do not get enough of mothers-first-milk; therefore, they do not get their fair share of the natural colostrum from mother - necessary for building strong immunities in those early days.

The result of these factors - is generally weak or low-capability immune function. This accounts for the fact that the dog (or cat) will likely be predisposed to succumb to various illess problems - especially yeast-candida disorder. Likewise, when such a disorder comes along, the pet will usually need much more help and maybe more time to get the problem resolved.

Additionally, what we see every day, is that the "all too common" usage of steroids (Predisone) and antibiotics by well-meaning pet-care professionals can be highly causative factors in pets developing the skin & itch problems (yeast-candida disorder); as appears to be the case with Raja. Why is this? Number one, the antibiotics can easily destroy necessary 'beneficial' bacteria of the gut - while seeking out pathogenic bacteria to destroy. Number two, steroids have one main usage - to suppress immune function!  But, immune function is needed - to fight candida-yeast that is trying to take over the gut when beneficial bacteria colonies (the Flora) are destroyed!  Further support for these statements can be found by perusing many of our hundreds of Success Stories, especially Jasper, who only had back/spinal problems before getting the typical 'treatments' we've just discussed.
