Spaniel helps Veteran with PTSD

“Tever is my best friend!” – I am a Viet Nam Veteran with severe PTSD. I live alone and the Police Dept. knew I needed a companion because they checked on me every day. So along comes Tever, a 2-year old Mini Spaniel and this little guy is the best thing that has ever happened to me.

Handsome & Smart

He is a beautiful, as you can see in the portrait I had painted of him. We bonded almost immediately and he knows when I have a spell and stays stuck to me until the spell passes. He knew 8 commands and now knows 18, he’s super smart.

But Tever had Seizure Problems

Tever was a rescue, who had wandered and scrounged for what he could to survive. BUT, he came to me with a significant seizure problem. He averaged 3 to 4 seizures per day.

Finding Nzymes
