I am a strong believer in the value of proper nutrition and enzymes. More importantly, the use of antioxidant enzymes in the diet for my animals. When animals are under stress (chemical, trauma, infectious, emotional distress, or receiving improper and inadequate nutrition) the cells of their bodies are overwhelmed by free radicals (toxic by-products). The immune system suffers and common symptoms begin showing up including; fatigue, irritability, sore muscles, inflamed joints, and organs. Longevity is always a problem when dealing with the giant breeds; we are normally lucky to have them 6-8 years at most. It has been my experience over the years, that the use of antioxidant enzymes, as offered with the Nzymes® product (Treats or Granules), have been beneficial in helping to extend the life expectancy of my Great Danes. I have had many live to be 11+ years of age and I am a firm believer that Nzymes® are important in maintaining a disease-free, high quality of life for my dogs.

I know surely this is one of the reasons Uno is still going strong, in spite of all his problems. My vet said yesterday, “Linda, this dog should have been dead months ago, what are you doing?” Well, this antioxidant product has a lot to do with his being stable (Uno has diabetes). Jane Gray’s sister has remained on this type of product for 10 years and she is able to take less insulin because of it.

I highly suggest people put their puppies on Nzymes® during their vaccination period (2-3 days before and 4-5 days after) to help prevent adverse reactions to multiple vaccines.
